Kids Shooting the Longbow, and Pigs

We took another load of stuff out the the farm/homestead the other day.  While we were there my brother-in-law came over and picked up a large wire dog crate that I have out there for my dog.  He was going to use it to bring back some pigs to raise to butcher, but the person that was supposed to sell them fell through.  We are going to see if a contact of mine around here has some feeder pigs, I will keep you updated.

We also brought our new hickory longbow that we bought from Ron at Hickory Stick Longbows.  The kids had a blast.

All the kids want to do when we are at the farm now is shoot the bow.  I am ok with that, it is much better than wanting to stay home and play video games.  I am hoping that when we move out here they continue to want to shoot the bow more than play video games.  We will see.
